If any person is going to kill anybody, then they will do it. It doesn't take video games to learn how to shoot somebody. People think that video games might be ruined because of this, but it's really not.

Industrial Revolution

Agrarian society - everything's based around agriculture

subsistence farming - grow crops and the amount of crops is based on what your family needs that year

people are no longer farming. there are machines to do what it takes 20 people to do.

crop rotation - every year they plant a different crop. giving the ground time to get nutrients back.

started in England because of natural resources. - transport goods (water), coal, iron, cotton, amount of land

people are moving from the country into the cities because there are more jobs.

once the steam engine is evolved, the factories are getting more popular.

factories owners start to find instead of hiring a guy who's spent his whole life on one thing, they can just use a machine.

factory owners want more money

training time has been cut in half. also finding, women and children will work for a lot cheaper than men will.

riots break out. people go on strikes.

unions are fighting for them. laws are being passed about number and duration of breaks. have to be paid minimal wage.

other companies are starting to grow. starting to build more factories. assembly lines are made.

first person to make an automobile was Henry Ford.

A steam engine I think was the most important and useful. It made a new way to travel, quicker and easier.
